The Strange Loop
Alex Miller just announced most of the sessions for The Strange Loop developer conference to be held in St. Louis, MO on October 23, 2009.I will be attending as well as a number of people I work with. I’m expecting a big turnout, as there is a lot of buzz in St. Louis right now about the conference. And there should be. The list of sessions and speakers is quite impressive.
Kurt Warner is Back
Kurt Warner is one of the classiest people to have ever worn a St. Louis sports uniform. He’s back in town as he helps victims of the Iowa and Missouri floods. If only we could find more athletes like him.

St. Louis Has Best Tasting Tap Water
Now I know why I think the water tastes like crap when I travel.
Tigers in Southern Missouri?
I visited the National Tiger Sanctuary in Bloomsdale, Missouri today. I wasn’t sure what to expect of the place before I visited, but I left thoroughly satisfied. They have five adult tigers, including a rare white tiger, with the largest weighing in at 700 pounds! While the St. Louis Zoo is awesome, it is no match to this place when it comes to getting up close views of large, playful tigers in an outdoor environment. The National Tiger Sanctuary is about a 45 minute drive south of St. Louis off of Interstate 55. Click on the photos below for a preview.
